HOTEL MANAGER
Snoozebox is seeking a Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of the business and team. You will be part of a small team that is bringing over 240 bedrooms online in London over the next 5 months. As the manager, you will be running the day-to-day and will be the driving force behind your team. We want you to take control of every aspect of the hotel and make sure each guest leaves happy and looking forward to their next stay.

EVENT MANAGER
Snoozebox is seeking a competent Event Manager to develop our events portfolio and organise events that will make an impact on our target audience. The role will initially be at our Olympic Park Hotel which has both indoor and outdoor event space and is located next to a high-profile 3,000 capacity concert venue. In this role, you will ensure events are managed successfully and delivered within budget and time constraints. Duties include liaising with management to enhance events success, working with caterers and vendors as well as overseeing the employment of entertainers, security and agency hospitality staff. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and great organisational skills.
Requirements:
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
- Offer suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence to these
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Oversee hiring of agency hospitality staff (DJs, Security Team, Bar & Waiting Staff etc)
- Coordinate all operations on the day of the event
- Lead promotional activities for the event
- Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers, etc)
- Approve all aspects before the day of the event
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an event manager
- Skilled in project management
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management

Salary:
£28,000 depending upon experience (pro-rata)

BREAKFAST CHEF
Snoozebox is seeking a Breakfast Chef for an 80 bedroom hotel in Olympic Park. As a breakfast chef, you would be responsible to prepare and deliver to breakfast service, providing a high standard of fresh food in a busy hotel restaurant. Oversee the checking of all deliveries. Requirements include undertaking a varied list of food preparation for the kitchen on a daily basis and taking full responsibility and accountability for the breakfast shift. Additionally ensuring that all policies and procedures laid down by management are implemented.
Requirements:
- Take control of the breakfast service and ensure guests receive a truly delicious breakfast
- Cooking and managing breakfast service
- Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen after breakfast.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
- Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time.
- Ensure all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
- Ensure the kitchen is operated within the appropriate legislation and the records are maintained up to date.
- Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the management.
- Ensure all staff under your control are treated fairly and with courtesy.
- Ensuring and controlling levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating, and food costs on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor and ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene.
- Assist with producing menus and new dishes.
- Able to prepare different types of breakfast egg preparations and methods.
- Liaise with Purchase Manager regarding daily raw materials for breakfast.
- Ensure costings and budgets are achieved
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and regulations.
- Have a good knowledge of health and safety, hygiene, equal opportunities, HACCP, and any other legislation.
- Attend training courses as and when required.
- Hours of work are normally 6am to noon.
Prerequisites:
- Passion for cooking
- Friendly outgoing personality along with excellent personal presentation.
- Passionate about producing high-quality food.
- Able to tackle every task given to you with the highest levels of enthusiasm.
- Be an excellent team player
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification in hotel/culinary/catering management. Computer knowledge and experience in using the Materials Management Software.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in full service or branded hotels. Relevant experience gained in a similar environment is desirable.
